Here is a taste of what I do as a filmmaker.

I've learned that making films almost has more in common with the craft of making music than it does with creating photographs. Primarily because music and film are both time-based mediums. Different approaches are required for filmmaking and photography in order to effectively get out of the way of the story that wants to be told. Both are fascinating mediums with the capacity to evoke great emotion and convey deep meaning.

Amanda & Shawn were married May 2nd, 2014 in Houston, TX. It was so fun to see the way they interact with each other and get to celebrate their marriage in such a relaxed and fun way. Everything from the charming, intricate details, to Amanda and Shawn's cordial, warm-hearted style of relating to people, made for a wonderful wedding experience. Here is what I got to be a part of!

This is Michael & Callie's love story. I've grown to be good friends with both of them over the past several years. Callie and I worked together for a couple of semesters and I've had several mutual friends with Michael. Michael is quite a character, and he and Callie are perfect complements to each other. So glad to see and film the joining of their lives on October 18th, 2014. Here is what led up to that day!

Andrew's proposal to Hanna at the Antique Rose Emporium in Independence, TX. Honestly, one of my favorite places in the world. It had just stopped raining, and the sun was about to set when they arrived. What a beautiful proposal!
